Article Writing Rules


ARTICLE TITLE

In the studies sent by the author for publication, the priority is the English and Turkish studies. In addition, all world languages can be accepted.

It is not obligatory to write a Turkish or other language title for works written only in English.

In studies written in Turkish or other languages, it is mandatory that the English title is not included in addition to the title of Turkish and other world languages.

Titles should be 11 pt (Bold and Times New Roman Font Style).

AUTHOR NAME INFORMATION

Since the articles sent to JOSHAS Journal will enter the referee process, the name or information deciphering the identity of the author should NOT be written into the articles added to the system. After the referee process of the article is completed, information about the author or authors will be added to the article by the editor.

ABSTRACT and KEYWORDS

For works written only in English: Abstract and keywords are sufficient.

For studies written in languages other than English: Turkish ABSTRACT (or abstract in other world languages) together with the Abstract (English) is required.

Abstract: It should consist of at least 200 words.

Keywords (other world languages keywords): It should consist of a minimum of 3, a maximum of 5 words.

Manuscripts that do not fulfill these conditions will not be published even if they complete the refereeing process.

PAGE LAYOUT

Please configure the page layout according to the following values:

Paper Size: A4 Vertical (Horizontal pages should not be included in the article)

Top Margin : 2 cm

Bottom Margin : 2 cm

Left Margin : 2 cm

Right Margin : 2 cm

Font : Times New Roman (justified)

Font Size: 11 in the title, 11 in the text, 10 in the abstract and 8 in the footnotes.

Paragraph Spacing: In the text Before: 6 pt-After 6 pt; In abstracts: Before:0 pt-After:0 pt (0 pt before and after in Tables)

Line Spacing : Single

Page Limitation: Since JOSHAS Journal publishes online, there is no page limit.

PLEASE DO NOT GIVE PAGE NUMBER IN THE WORK AND DO NOT CUT BETWEEN PAGES.

NUMBERING OF HEADINGS

The main headings of the study should be numbered starting from the INTRODUCTION.

Main Headings of the Study should be written in CAPITAL CAPS, and the first letters of the sub-headings should be written in capital letters.

For example:

3. FINDINGS AND DISCUSSIONS

4. CONCLUSION and RECOMMENDATIONS

REFERENCES

TABLES, PICTURES AND FIGURES

Tables, pictures and figures (graphics) in the text should be numbered according to the order of tables, pictures (visuals) and figures (graphics), not according to the section number.

Tables should not be included as images.

The names and sources of the tables, pictures (visuals) and figures (graphics) in the text should be written.

Tables should be justified. Picture (Image) and figures (graphics) should be left justified.

Font size: 9 points

Font : Times New Roman

Line spacing : Single

Paragraph spacing: 0 pt before and after

FORMAT OF SOURCE SHOWING IN TEXT

(Author surname, Year: Page No) or (Author surname, Year) format should be used for citations made in the text, citations in footnotes should not be preferred except for necessity.

REFERENCES

At the end of the text, a list of sources used in the study should be given under the heading REFERENCES.

All sources cited in the text must be cited in the bibliography.

One of the APA or MLA systems can be used while showing the resources to be cited in the skimming section. This choice is left to the author.

In the bibliography section, where the references used in the study are listed, the sources should be written in alphabetical order according to the surname of the author.

References should not be numbered in the bibliography section.
